A fully leased apartment complex in east Portland, Ore., will be sold at county foreclosure auction in August.
Tulsa, Okla.-based auctioneer National Commercial Auctioneers facilitates commercial real estate auctions for banks, special servicers, receivers, trustees and bankruptcy courts. The company said the Patricia Anne Apartments contain 14 units that are all currently occupied. The complex has 10 two-story apartments configured as three-bedroom, one-bathroom units and four two-story apartments configured as three-bedroom, one and half-bathroom units. The majority of the complex was built in 1966, with an addition completed in 1976. The site has a total of seven buildings with 1,127 square feet of space each.
The property is located at 737 SE 187th Ave. in Portland and National Commercial Auctioneers said the auction will be held on Aug. 26 at the Multnomah County Courthouse.
County property records list each apartment as its own condominium unit, with an additional listing for the site’s common elements. Since online records began in 1994, the site has changed hands five times. The property was last sold in July 2007 for $1.06m.
National Commercial Auctioneers president Stephen Karbelk said the auction was unique in that the complex is fully occupied, adding its location to public transportation, shopping and restaurants makes it more attractive.
Prospective bidders must register before the auction and payment must be made in full at the close of the auction.
